Naming Ceremonies of UACC MASAFI and UACC MESSILA
On September 9, 2011 United Arab Chemical Carriers LTD (UACC) celebrated the naming ceremonies of “UACC Masafi” and “UACC Messila” at the Shina Shipyard in Tongyeong, South Korea. The ceremony was attended by Board Members of the UACC and a number of distinguished guests representing banks, external legal counsel, commercial partners, flag state, classification society and insurance.
The two ships are the first of six sophisticated 45,000 dwt chemical tankers to be built at the Shina Shipyard. They are genuine IMO II, and they form an important and integral part of UACC’s business plan. At delivery the vessels will be registered in the Marshall Islands Registry.
“UACC Masafi” is named after a small mountain town in the UAE with long traditions as a trading post and as a source for drinking water, while “UACC Messila” is named after a district in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate of Kuwait.
Mr.Waleed Al Dawood, Chairman of UACC and COO of United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), was the Sponsor of “UACC Masafi”, while Mr.Mishal Kanoo, Vice-Chairman of UACC and Deputy Chairman – UAE & Oman of the Kanoo Group, was the Sponsor of “UACC Messila”.

UACC SHAMS
Following the delivery of UACC SILA last month, the sister-ship "UACC SHAMS" (ex TYRRHENIAN WAVE) has been delivered to UACC on May 25th, at 16h Local time, at Durban anchorage. UACC SHAMS, built in SPP Shipbuilding in South Korea in 2009, will be the 6th ship to join the Cargill-UACC IMO 2/3 MR Fleet.

We are pleased to announce the addition of UACC SILA (ex IONIAN WAVE), 50,121 DWT, built 2009 in SPP Shipbuilding, South Korea to our fleet on April 26th, 20:12 local Houston time. We took delivery of the ship in Galveston and the ship will enter a 7 year bareboat charter. The UACC SILA has already joined our Partnership with Cargill International S.A., Geneva. The fleet of UACC including new-buildings is now 17 vessels, divided between 1 IMO II/III MR (UACC SILA), 6 MR sister-ships, 4 Panamax LR1 sister-ships and 6 MR chemical sister-ships on order.

We are pleased to announce the addition of UACC EAGLE (ex SUMMIT ASIA), built 2009 in New Century Shipbuilding to our fleet this morning, 10:48 local Hong Kong time. We took delivery of the ship in Malta. UACC fleet is now 10 units, divided between 6 MR sister-ships, 4 LR1 sister-ships and 6 MR chemical sister-ships on order making it a nice homogenous fleet for us to operate.

UACC is proud to announce the addition of the coated Panamax MT UACC FALCON (ex MT SUMMIT AUSTRALIA), built 2009 in New Century Shipbuilding, China, to its fleet. The MT UACC FALCON, which is on 7 years Bare Boat Charter with purchase option from a Norwegian K/S, is the third LR1 controlled by UACC and a sister to the UACC IBN SINA and UACC IBN AL HAITHAM. MT UACC FALCON, which is technically managed by Executive Ship Management of Singapore, has been delivered to UACC on December 30th 2010, in Kaohsiung, where Captain Raj Kumar Verma is in command along with Chief Engineer Asit Kumar Das.

UACC’s fully controlled subsidiary Arabian Chemical Carriers Company (“ACCC”)
sells M/T “Al Farabi”
After 24 years in service for the Group (primarily through the previous UASC/NSCSA joint venture),
UACC’s fully controlled subsidiary, ACCC, have sold and delivered the M/T “Al Farabi”
(IMO II/III Chemical carrier, 43,500t dwt, built Daewoo South Korea 1986) for demolition. The
ship has been a solid and reliable performer throughout many years, during which it has transported
several million tons of chemical products for Middle Eastern producers. It is therefore with mixed
emotions that we are selling this ship for demolition, however, UACC have strategically decided to
focus on operating a modern and flexible fleet, and the sale is therefore in line with our business plan
to phase the M/T “Al Farabi” out, and thereby bring the average age of our fleet down to 5 (five) years.

| UACC takes delivery of product tanker M/T "UACC IBN AL HAITHAM"

We are very pleased to announce that Arabian Chemical Carriers Company, a fully controlled subsidiary of UACC, has today 12th January 2009 at 11:00 hrs GMT taken delivery of M/T "UACC IBN AL HAITHAM.
The vessel is a new-building built at New Times Shipyard in China. The main particulars of the ship are: about 228.6 m loa, 32.26 m beam and 73,338t DWT. There are 12 cargo tanks and two slop tanks. Upon delivery, the vessel will enter a 12 months time charter to DS Norden A/S, and the vessel is being taken out on her maiden voyage to enter this charter by Captain Rohit Malhan and Chief Engineer Dulov.
